Hi, I’m Jack
Over the last six years, I’ve been writing in the lifestyle space over a wide range of subject matters. Growing up in Brooklyn, I discovered from a young age just how vast the world around me is and how interesting every detail of it can be.
In particular, I became interested in sports early on, and I think the dedication and drive required are a big part of what fueled my work as a writer many years later. It provided a desire to stay in shape and a need to balance my interests with a consistent focus on my mental and physical health, much of which I incorporate into my writing.
Shortly after graduating in 2017, I joined the men’s lifestyle publication Modded, which I’ve been writing and editing for ever since. Modded gave me the chance to really begin to cement my writing style and establish myself as someone both knowledgeable and dependable.
In the last few years, I've taken on a new role as a single father. Being a parent is by far the best job I've had, and I've tried to use the experience to grow as both a person and as a writer. As a single father, I've been working to help fellow parents through life's most difficult challenges. This includes diving deep into not only parenting advice but advice for anyone struggling with their mental health. Explorations of these topics have been featured on Parent.com, TinyBuddha, Calmerry and more.
Since becoming a writer full-time, I’ve found myself really getting the opportunity to dive into everything I’m passionate about. My love for cars led to me becoming an expert in the automotive industry, with my works being published by Hennessey, MOTOR, Car Mechanics Magazine, the National Motorists Association and more. My research into automotive manufacturing has likewise led me to unique insights on the electronics supply chain, trucking industry logistics and in-depth business practices. My deep-dives into sustainability in the industry have been featured in Fleet Equipment Magazine, EE Power and Innovation News Network.
Even as a parent, I strive to keep up my physical fitness, with articles of my time as a young athlete and later as a senior fitness coach landing me in BarBend, SimpliFaster and TrainHeroic. Similarly, I’ve always had a dedication to becoming one with the world around me. My exploration of travel and self-sufficiency led me to positions writing for Trekaroo, Duluth Pack and Travel Magazine.
My journey has been an exciting one, but it’s only just beginning. If you’re curious about my style and how I’ve contributed to the other publications I’ve worked with, check out a selection of my writing.
I’m always looking for new and exciting opportunities, so if you think my skills are a good fit for your website or organization, please feel free to reach out to me!
